LEED

At Zodiac, we are dedicated to green, energy efficient, sustainable buildings that are the most environmentally friendly as possible.  Zodiac successfully guides teams through all of the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating Systems.

  • Use LEED either as a general framework or achieve official LEED certification
  • Provide services and tools to assist with LEED registration, documentation, and certification
  • Assist building owners and managers with implementing the LEED for New Construction and Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance standard in their facilities and provide assessments of building environmental performance
  • Develop and implement practical, cost-effective programs for sustainable operations that enhance property value and reduce ongoing expenses.

Zodiac provides coordination of the documentation process for our clients in addition to expertise, guidance and professional training on green building capital projects and the development programs for both new construction and existing facility operations. We help our clients achieve LEED certification for both new construction and existing facility operations.

LEED Innovation and Design Process,  ID Credit 2 requires at least one principal participant of the project team to be a LEED Accredited Professional (AP).  Serving as LEED AP as well as Commissioning Authority, we support the design integration required by LEED and assist our clients through the LEED certification process.

USGBC LEED Rating System

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.  Zodiac is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

LEED gives building owners and operators the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their buildings’ performance. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
